About this event
Fight for justice and dignity with GBIV and feel a sense of purpose! We will gather to write letters to/for people across the world who have been unjustly imprisoned. This activity is part of an Amnesty International Program that features people on the front lines of climate change fighting to protect their communities from droughts, gas flares, development projects and pollution.
This is a family-friendly event, open to all ages that can write a letter or draw a picture that can offer hope to those who need it the most. For more information see the Amnesty International Write for Rights Campaign here.
Feel free to bring paper, stationary, envelopes, colored pencils, and/or international stamps. We will also have supplies on hand for participant use. Come make a difference, stay for a few minutes or a couple of hours.
