I'm writing today to share a webinar recording that's been one of the most insightful, hopeful, and empowering resources I've encountered since Trump took office again. It's called "From Serbia to Ferguson: Fighting Back Against Democratic Backsliding," and it features Cori Bush and Ivan Marovic (who was part of the student movement that overthrew Serbian dictatorship in the late 20 century).
If you don't have time to watch all 78 minutes of it, the most crucial section starts around 32:33, which begins a series of 10 effective action steps to consider. These action steps are based on very detailed research from other democracy movements in the past 100+ years, and they involve varying levels of risk.
