Our Vision: GBIV is a trusted, community-centered hub where neighbors of all ages connect, learn, and support one another—reducing isolation and strengthening belonging.

Our Focus for the Next 3 Years:

1. Grow Membership & Engagement: Expand to 200+ active members while deepening participation, strengthening relationships, and increasing access to volunteer support.
2. Build Financial Sustainability: Diversify funding through individual giving, grants, and partnerships while establishing reserves to ensure long-term stability.
3. Strengthen Staff & Volunteer Capacity: Invest in staffing, clarify roles, and build a strong volunteer infrastructure to support sustainable growth.
4. Expand Programs & Community Impact: Deliver high-quality, inclusive, and intergenerational programs with expanded offerings in wellness, education, arts, and technology.
5. Increase Visibility & Awareness: Enhance communications to ensure community members understand, access, and engage with GBIV’s full range of services as well as our impact and success.
6. Strengthen Board Leadership: Build an increasingly skilled, engaged Board to support governance, fundraising, and long-term strategy.
7. Deepen Partnerships, Equity & Inclusion: Expand collaborations, improve accessibility, and ensure all programs are welcoming and inclusive.
